Job Title: Lead Software Engineer (Contract) - Job#4250

Indianapolis preferred; Remote will be considered
Job Description: Our client has an immediate requirement for a Lead Software Engineer to join their team. Candidates with experience working in EHR and healthcare environments will be given preference. A hybrid schedule working in Indianapolis is preferred however we will consider remote for the right fit.
Responsibilities:
Lead a cross functional team in the development of both software applications and websites Conduct code, design, architecture, and security reviews Mentor more junior software engineers Collaborate with business users to create solutions Creates, uses, and promotes the use of development frameworks, tools, methodologies and procedures to reduce future coding efforts and increase functional consistency Knowledgeable of design patterns and practices.; implements highly complex logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements Documents and communicates application vision and creates application architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps Provides insight into and knowledge of the latest application architectures, technology, solutions and industry trends Experience with and knowledge of software development life cycles and the activities that occur within lifecycles Contributes to business requirement definition and use case design as a technical expert Takes Lead role as the Scrum Master in daily stand ups and other Agile ceremonies Required:
Bachelor's degree, Computer Science or Engineering preferred 7+ years Software Development 2+ years Leadership Strong leadership, mentoring, and negotiating skills Strong Software and Distributed System Design Skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused, changing environment Strong web development experience and skills Highly competent in many of the following: .NET Framework, Java, Javascript, Angular JS, ASP.NET, Microsoft WebAPI, Python, Go, XML, JSON, HTML, Web Services using SOAP and REST, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgresql, Elastic, NoSQL Databases, Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL, Windows, Mac, Linux, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure) Coding experience for applications in C#. Experience in Health Care Industry Major EHR System Development experience (Epic, Cerner, Athena Health, PatientKeeper, etc.) Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure) Experience with DevOps concepts including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Infrastructure as code, and release automation.
