Join our MAHLE colleagues around the world and we will become #StrongerTogether.SUMMARYThis position is part of the AC eCompressor Design and Development Engineering Team, with a focus specifically on modeling and improving product reliability.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssessment of the reliability of current compressor designs.Develop compressor reliability models through empirical testing and physics theory.
Develop accelerated compressor life tests.
Contribution to current and future compressor designs for reliability improvement.Work with FEA models to understand compressor loadings and stress.Support validation, launch, and production problem-solving activities.Participate in innovation, product cost, and quality improvement initiatives.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline is required.2 or more years of experience in Reliability Engineering is required.Demonstrated background in Reliability Studies, Weibull Analyses, FMEA, etc. is required.Statistics software experience (Minitab, etc.) is preferred.Familiarity with 3D modeling software (NX, SolidWorks, etc.) is preferred.Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is preferred.Automotive industry experience is preferred.Do you have any questions?JORDAN.TAYLOR@MAHLE.COMFacts about the job
