What You'll Do
Primary responsibilities providing technical expertise and supporting Environmental staff both within a branch and within a regionLeading and coaching junior Environmental staff membersMentoring Environmental Associate PrincipalsParticipation in the review committee for candidates who seek Associate Principal designation (Environmental)Responsibilities include performing the following at both the office and regional levels:
Overseeing projectsPerforming technical report reviewsPreparing proposalsBusiness development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
If you are hired into an Assessment & Remediation focused role:Groundwater and soil investigationsRisk Assessments and Hydrogeologic StudiesRemediation System Design, underground storage tank assessment and remediation assessmentsBrownfield consulting servicesIf you are hired into a Natural Resources focused role:Conducting and managing wetland and natural resource projectsSubstantial experience in 404/401 permitting, specifically Nationwide Permits and General Permits; knowledge of Individual Permits are a plusExperience conducting Threatened and Endangered Species Assessments is a plusExperience performing NEPA assessments and documentation is a plusWhat We're Looking For
Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Natural Resources/Forestry, Soil Science, Hydrology/HydrogeologyProfessional Engineer (P.E.), Professional Wetlands Scientist (PWS), or Professional Geologist (P.G.)At least 12 years of professional environmental experienceRegulatory relationship with local regulatory agency, Miami-Dade County Environmental Resources Management is requiredWho We Are
