Accountant and Treasury Analyst

We are looking for a forward thinking, innovative, analytical, and detail-oriented team player to join our accounting team as an Accountant and Treasury Analyst. This role will be responsible for daily cash reporting, processing cash transactions, and assisting with Corporate/Shared Services Accounting functions, including but not limited to recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with preparation of SEC filings, and supporting audits.

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

Essential Functions:

Prepare daily cash reports for management and manage daily bank transactionsReconcile cash and assist with other Treasury related inquiriesPrepare and reconcile the monthly reports for various general accounting activitiesWork with team to determine and implement banking process efficiency improvementsAssist with quarterly ASC 606 Revenue Recognition process and SEC reportingAssist with the preparation and tie out of quarterly filingsPrepare documentation for internal and external audits as needed for financial and SOX auditsAssist Shared Services team with analysis and ad hoc projects

Required Skills And Qualifications

Strong verbal and organizational skills, and ability to communicate accounting practicesExcellent interpersonal skills (customer oriented, positive attitude, team participation)At least intermediate level of computer skills in email, Excel, and other Microsoft Office softwareDemonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, think critically, resolve problems effectively, and respond to and reduce customer complaintsAbility to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environmentAbility to work autonomously, including ability to prioritize responsibilitiesInitiative to propose and implement improvements and efficienciesDetail oriented with attention to accuracyUnderstanding of SOX 404 internal controls

Required Experience And Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityAt least 3 years of relevant accounting experienceCash management experience preferredExperience with SOX 404 internal control requirements preferred

Base Compensation: USD 75,000.00 - 90,000.00 Paid Salaried
