is recruiting for the following opportunity:This is a fast-growing practice with hundreds of clients of all sizes and an excess of work. The focus will be patent preparation and prosecution, but you will also have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of other intellectual property work in support of a diverse practice (e.g., patentability, freedom to operate, validity, infringement, and enforceability opinions; patent portfolio strategy; due diligence; trademarks, etc.).Depending upon your specific technical background, the work will relate to some combination of the following types of inventions: mechanical design for commercial and consumer products, equipment and machinery, process engineering, biomedical devices, materials engineering, electromechanical, light electrical, software engineering.This is a progressive firm that has demonstrated the flexibility necessary to keep top talent. You will not be pressured to generate new business, but you will be well supported in any of your efforts to attract new clients. In fact, you will get a substantial origination percentage from any new clients you attract to the firm, even if the new client work is performed by others in the firm. Here, you will get great client exposure and will be well mentored in every category, including client management. In short, this is an opportunity to truly grow as a well-rounded patent professional. Very reasonable billable hours requirement with bonus for extra hours billed.Requirements:At least 2 years of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience.Must have a state bar and be licensed to practice before the USPTO.A technical degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, materials engineering, physics, computer science, biomedical engineering, or chemical engineering. Advanced degrees are certainly valued.Additional Notes for Candidates:All fees are paid by client firms and companies. As a consequence of our reputation for having integrity and providing results, we often work on exclusive assignments that are not advertised.Another important distinction is that we work directly with the decision makers (i.e. partners, managing counsels, etc.) that make the determinations regarding who will be interviewed, who will be extended an offer, etc.You have our express commitment that
