Position Summary:
As a technical lead, you will guide software engineers in delivering iOS mobile features using iOS, Node.js, GQL, etc. You will design, develop, and lead multiple Business or Technology driven projects with small to medium sized teams to support new functionalities and user experiences.

Play a pivotal role in shaping architectural decisions, championing scalable and efficient solutions to meet present and future needs.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership and mentorship to your teammates, other teams, and engineers.
Take ownership, lead, and contribute across the technical stack to improve speed of delivery, developer productivity, and related goals.
Drive Availability, Quality, Performance, and Resiliency related goals with your team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, UX, and designers, to grasp the requirements and deliver top-tier software products.
Identify and drive improvements to mobile SDE frameworks, components, and tooling for the Walmart developer community.
Contribute to and enhance mobile platform architecture to implement high-tech ideas for next generation retail, involving technologies related to AR/VR, Gen AI, Automation/Robotics, Telemetry, Code-injection technologies, etc.
What you'll bring:
At least 4+ years of experience designing and developing software for iOS platform as well as larger frontend stack using Swift, Swift UI.
Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
Proficient with Swift and Swift UI.
Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), etc.
Solid understanding of the full iOS development life cycle.
Experience developing and testing Server-side APIs for mobile and web clients using Node.js, etc. GQL experience is a plus.
Experience in mobile architectures including Model View Controller (MVC), Model View View-Model (MVVM), and VIPER.
Advanced knowledge of complex software design, distributed system design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Excellent technical debugging and production support skills.
Experience with monitoring mobile app performance, stability, success rate and leveraging data to improve the same.
Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
Knowledge in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
