Pursues opportunities for excellence in standards of care and patient safety. Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, employee engagement, and teamwork. Effectively supervises the nursing team and supports professional growth and development at all levels. Develops, monitors, and adheres to nursing operational and capital budgets. Ensures compliance with applicable state and federal regulatory requirements. Works collaboratively with Porter Medical Center and the University of Vermont Health Network to ensure alignment with nursing practices and organizational strategic initiatives.Education Required:Registered Nurse graduate of an accredited school of nursingActive, unrestricted, RN license recognized by The State of VermontBachelor of Science in NursingExperience:3-5 years of progressively responsible clinical and administrative nursing leadership in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care.Excellent interpersonal skills with focus on person-centered care.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.Effective oral and written communication skills.Knowledge or desire to learn applicable federal and state regulations.Demonstrated nursing competency.Able to proficiently read, write, and speak the English language.Certification in rehab nursing or geriatric nursing preferred.Previous experience with EPIC electronic health record preferred.About Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing:Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is a skilled nursing facility licensed by the State of Vermont that is located on the campus of Porter Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Vermont Health Network.To learn more about Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing, please go to:
