with experience in Design and Management of
MEP and Electrical
engineering and knowledge of the design process from proposal through construction phases.Job Responsibilities:Manage MEP projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate MEP activities with other disciplinesDevelop MEP system designs, specifications, and drawings for tenant fit-outs and shell buildings as well as various other projects that require MEP solutionsReview and approve shop drawings, submittals, and as-built drawingsFacilitate seamless integration of various MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protectionAssist in the architectural application of electrical engineering, including power systems, lighting design, generator design, campus electrical infrastructure, etc.Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures, using knowledge of building codes and regulations to create/modify designs and drawingsCreation of electrical specification packagesVerify that all design aspects comply with local code and apply code provisionsAssist in the development of project proposals and client presentations and attend client meetingsPerform field inspections, measurements or calculations and documentCommunicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on MEP solutionsEngineers who join our team will be expected to:Uphold the highest commitment to technical excellence, performing detailed engineering calculations & analysisLead development of construction documents (plans and specifications)Meet established budget and delivery schedulesCoordinate execution projects with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.Preparation of construction drawings and specifications for public bid.Build internal and external client relationshipsEducation & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline5-7 years of related consulting and design experience, specifically in MEP and power system design and implementation.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering MEP solutions, ensuring the successful execution of projects from conception to completionProficiency in relevant MEP design software: REVIT, AutoCAD, BluebeamStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong client relations and technical writing skillsAbility to mentor and supervise junior level staff.PE highly desired.Salary Range:
$80,000 - $130,000 annually.The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law. Note: The salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
