Our 2023 growth and success have opened an opportunity for a seasoned VP of Engineering who wants to lead AI Gen innovations across our portfolio of SaaS products.

We are looking for a results-driven and visionary Vice President of Engineering with a strong background in Adtech Agency platforms and a proven track record of driving innovations and scaling engineering organizations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of navigating the challenges driving product roadmaps, and addressing technical debt while maturing SDLC processes and overall engineering team performance. Prior experience in enterprise systems integrations and pub/sub architecture would be ideal. Please note this is a hybrid working opportunity with 3 days in the office.

Location: Plano Texas | Hybrid (3 Days in the office )

Base Salary: $220,000- $240,000/annually

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy:Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, aligning their efforts with the overall business strategy.Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy that supports the company's growth objectives.Adtech Expertise:Bring in-depth knowledge and experience in the AdTech industry to drive innovation and ensure our technology remains at the forefront of the market.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor landscape.Scaling Engineering Organization:Develop and implement scalable processes for the entire SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring efficiency and quality.Lead recruitment efforts to attract top-tier engineering talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.Agile Ceremonies:Oversee and enhance agile development methodologies, ensuring cross-functional teams are delivering high-quality software on time.Implement best practices for sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.Business Systems Consolidation:Work closely with cross-functional teams to consolidate and optimize business systems, streamlining processes for maximum efficiency based on a Pub/sub architecture.Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and integrations.Technology Integrations:Lead efforts to integrate new technologies and tools seamlessly into existing systems.Ensure interoperability and compatibility between different components of the technology stack.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience:Minimum of 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in a Senior leadership role.3-5 yrs AWS or Google Cloud environments.Exposure to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads API, and Ad platform/Reporting systems.React/JS, Java, MySQL Tech Stacks.Proven track record of successfully scaling engineering organizations in a high-growth environment across different geographic locations and time zones.Accomplished record of scaling SaaS-based software engineering teams and processes.Relevant experience in Adtech, with a deep understanding of industry trends and challenges.Recent exposure to generative AI and LLM Models that are changing traditional software engineering disciplines.Skills:Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated success in business systems (CRM, Order Mgt, Financials, BI) consolidation and integrations with Adtech platforms.Other:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Servant leader style and mindsetStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
