Our International Tax team is looking for a Senior Associate with a background in Compliance. The International Tax Senior Associate will have the opportunity to work hybrid from our Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, or Chicago offices.As an ITAX Senior, you will:Solve interesting and complex international tax problems.Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.Review the tax preparation work of our staff and offshore team.Provide innovative tax compliance expertise, including preparation of U.S. international tax forms, such as 5471, 8992, 8865, 8858, 1042, 8802, K-2 and K-3, and 8833.Calculate E&P, Section 987 foreign exchange gains (losses), GILTI, expense apportionment and allocation, ECI, Subpart F and Subpart F recapture, and Section 962.Effectively manage budgets.Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively both with the client and internally to provide superior client service.What you bring to the role:Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant field of study.Licensed CPA or the eligibility to work towards obtaining a CPA license.2+ years of progressive International Tax compliance experience with a public accounting firm or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is preferred.Strong tax technical skills and accounting skills.
