CIVIL LITIGATION ATTORNEY

to join our team.

The Civil Litigation Attorney will be responsible for representing our clients in various civil litigation matters. The primary focus will be on providing expert legal advice, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and advocating for our clients' best interests.

LOCATION:

14370 Ventura Blvd.Sherman Oaks, California 91423SALARY RANGE:

$80,000 to $130,000Project based also available.

Responsibilities:

Handle a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution, including but not limited to personal injury, contract disputes, employment issues, and business disputes.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues to develop effective strategies and arguments.

Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents necessary for litigation.

Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.

Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.

Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on potential risks and legal implications.

Conduct negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.

Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to civil litigation.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive case files and documentation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals in the legal community.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active member of the California State Bar with good standing.

Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing civil litigation law.

Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules, and court systems.

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work.

Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Professional demeanor and ability to maintain client confidentiality.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Gsuite or related software.
