OVERVIEW
As the International Merchandise Manager, you will support Alo’s franchisees and joint ventures on the brand expansion in their respective markets. This person will partner with our Global Merchandise team and Site Merchandise team to ensure all product assortments, strategies, and investments are communicated to our franchisee and joint venture international partnerships. This role involves analyzing partners’ performance data, understanding consumer behavior, and developing a comprehensive merchandising plan that aligns with Alo’s brand and business objectives. We’re looking for someone who is a highly organized individual that is required to continually consolidate and then disseminate product performance data through to the Global merchandising team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement international merchandising assortments strategies to meet sales targets and market needs
Key Markets: Mexico, Central and South America, Middle Eastern Region, and South East Asia region
Funnel international product market intelligence; performance data, market trends, competitor landscape from International partners to Global Merchandising team in effort to impact insight to adoption strategy Key communicator to cross-functional partners on product knowledge, intent and assortment Participate in season reviews, assortment building and present to the Global Merchandising team as well as cross-functional teams Work cross-functionally with Global Merchandising and Global Digital team to ensure any changes, updates and strategy shifts are communicated to International Partners Curate specific assortments by channel for each international market inclusive of store and digital if applicable in alignment with Global retail approach Consolidate, analyze each market’s performance trends in order to advise market specific product needs to Global Design for future line planning Collaborate with Digital Site Merchandising team to understand the priorities for aloyoga.com to lead the development and implementation of the digital merchandising initiatives for our International Partners Advise on international pricing strategy in relation to International Partners to ensure brand expectations are met and margins protected Consolidate International Partners’ seasonal campaign performance to provide Global Merch team with detailed reports and recommendations for future lines Collaborate with Marketing, Visual Merchandising & Digital Merchandising to give guidelines on brand strategies to the International Partners QUALIFICATIONS 5-6 years of experience in fashion merchandising, with a focus on international markets Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with global teams Proficiency in merchandising software and tools such as PLM, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Passion for creating best-in-class partnerships through strong communication skills Strong communication skills, including confidence in leading cross-functional meetings to drive results The creativity to create and drive new ways of working and process building Exceptional organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in navigating ambiguity Sense of urgency with the ability to make decisions with available information Attention to detail and organizational skills The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$160,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
