Cottage Grove, OregonSalary: $148,699.20 - $218,587.20 AnnuallyLocation: Lane County Health & Human ServicesJob Type: RegularJob Number: 202400326Opening Date: 07/22/2024Closing Date: TBDFLSA: ExemptAbout the PositionThe Community Health Centers have been providing quality primary care and behavioral health services to the citizens of Lane County since 2004. We provide a broad array of services to over 20,000 adults and children annually in an outpatient setting. The CHC is the primary source for outpatient primary care of the uninsured and under-insured.Responsibilities:Oversee operations of the dental department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.Provide clinical supervision, administrative management, and strategic planning to enhance dental services.Diagnose dental/oral conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.Educate individuals on oral health conditions and disease prevention.Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing dental practice.Manage dental staff, conduct performance evaluations, and make hiring decisions.Develop and train staff, identifying training needs and providing feedback.Prepare and submit reports on Dental Clinic issues and participate in program planning.Lead community activities to develop partnerships addressing program issues.Serve as Chair of the Dental Performance Improvement Committee.Investigate and resolve complaints and concerns from various stakeholders.Prepare presentations and facilitate meetings related to the dentistry program.Maintain knowledge of trends in dental programs and analyze program data.Participate in budget preparation and monitor expenditures.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited dental school.Five years of experience in a clinical dental setting, including three years of progressive leadership experience.State of Oregon License, DEA Certificate, Current BLS certification, and NPI.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a community health setting.Familiarity with unionized work environments.This position is subject to a full criminal offender information record check.
