This dual commitment to ongoing innovation in technology along with unwavering partner support ensures we provide top-notch quality, dependability, and stability for both our direct customers and our network of resellers.What you will be doing:As a Technical Consultant, you would be responsible for working with the Regional Sales Manager in your territory to deliver product demonstrations, network with clients, and help expand sales by providing technical recommendations for products and services that align with customer needs.What your primary responsibilities will be:Discuss with customers and engineers to determine system requirements and provide solutions.Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support, working closely with all key dealers/SI in the assigned region, building personal trust and relationships with customers.Secure orders with sales teams.Plan and customize products to meet customer needs.Help clients solve key problems that need onsite presence or coordinate with the tech support team to find solutions.Recommend and cross-reference improved materials to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase value.Help in researching and developing new products by gathering customer requirements.Assist the company in providing evaluations to customers or business opportunities from a technical perspective.Must be able to travel up to 50% as needed.Other projects as assigned.What you will need:BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of technical sales, sales support, or sales engineering experience.Strong technical experience with higher-end CCTV and Access Control systems.Excellent oral and written communication skills (ability to present information to both technical and non-technical people).Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and computer skills including fluency in MS Office.Physical Demands:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed.May be required to stand for long periods of time.Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work-related machinery.Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions.Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication.Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication.Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances.May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels.May be required to travel up to 50% of the time dependent on the role.Why do you want to work for us?We are proud of what we do and who we are.
