Care Solicitor – Head of Department

Think Legal are currently working with a North East based high street firm who are looking for an experienced care solicitor to join them.
The firm is one of only a handful of firms to do care work in the region but have an excellent reputation in this specific area of family law.
They are looking for someone to come in and head up and grow the department. There is an existing caseload and lots of potential to really make this role your own. The department gets lots of referrals from the local community.
Ideally you will be at least 5 years PQE + and you will need to be on the Law Society’s Children's Panel.
Day to day you will be dealing with care proceedings, care and supervision orders, PLO meetings, special guardianship orders, secure accommodation orders and more.
The firm as a whole really does develop and support all of their lawyers and it is reflective of the positive culture here that staff members tend to stay around for the long term with people having been there in excess of 25 years.
The firm will pay up to £55k for the right candidate + benefits.
