This role will focus on transforming our cloud native infrastructure using IaC, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and AWS. As a vital part of the engineering team, you will lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of our DevOps processes to ensure seamless integration and delivery.What you'll do:Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure leveraging a PaaS solution underpinned by KubernetesDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline development processes and deploymentsDesign, build, and optimize our data layer persistence strategiesOrchestrate containerized applications to maximize uptime and maintainabilityConduct infrastructure performance tuning, monitoring, and enhancements to maintain high availability and reliabilityImplement best practices for security and compliance across infrastructureMentor and guide other engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environmentTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and service issues, providing expert support to the engineering teamWork closely with developers to enable code deployment through automated, scalable methodologiesEvaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure as code and deployment processesMaintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, processes, and infrastructure designsWhat you need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roleExtensive experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline managementDeep understanding of AWS services and architecture, with hands-on experience in a production environmentProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or GoExpertise in Kubernetes for container orchestrationStrong proficiency in implementing infrastructure as codeStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the stackExcellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levelsProven experience in mentoring and leading junior engineersStrong understanding of DevSecOps practices and the ability to implement security best practices within CI/CD pipelinesNice to haves:AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certificationExperience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDogFamiliarity with database management and maintenanceKnowledge of secure data warehousing architecturesBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceEmployee stock purchase planPaid time offPaid trainingVision insurance
