About The Team

Workday's Infrastructure Team supports an ever-growing Private and Public Cloud environment upon which the Workday application runs. The team is composed of highly skilled Data Center Engineers, System Engineers, Software Development Engineers, and Network Engineers spanning multiple geographies and global regions. Our mission is to help businesses deliver new products and features, ensure security and compliance, and maintain operational excellence across all facets of the cloud environments and data centers!

About The Role

We're looking for a DevOps engineer to join our team. You will be working on DevOPs tasks in the Cloud and private data centers to enhance our Identity and Access Management platform. This is a high impact teamwork role working closely with Engineering teams, Security, Compliance and Audit to design, build, deploy and operationalize tools to enhance security and compliance!

About You

Responsibilities:

Perform DevOps tasks in Cloud and Private Data Centers, including build, configure, deployment, and ongoing support.Maintain our LDAP systemsDevOps minded, using Infrastructure as code (IaC) standard methodologies and creating policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including running LDAP systems, building servers, updating configuration, deployment, support, and working with Chef.Proven scripting, including BASH, Python, and RubyProven hands-on experience in deploying and leading enterprise solutions in Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) with experience in developing tools to automate systems deployment and management tasksAuthentication and Authorization experience in a Linux environment with some of the following: Vault, SSO, Delegated Authentication, Account Provisioning, PCI Security Standards, x509, SAML, OAuth, WS-Security, Configurable Data Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM)Knowledge of security compliance relating to IAM standards, including NIST framework and CIS controls, security SEIM, session logging.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in automating large-scale deployments with software configuration management tools (Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc)Comprehensive experience with AWS including a proven understanding of CI and CD, Amazon S3, RDS, EC2, IAM, Cloudformation and Route 53Experience working with complex, high transaction, high availability environmentsExperience with SaaS security infrastructure

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $102,400 USD - $153,600 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $97,300 USD - $174,000 USD
