You’ll architect and build the next-generation risk solutions for FalconX and its clients. You will get an opportunity to improve a proprietary auto-liquidation engine for FalconX. Well-reputed financial institutions and crypto firms will trust and rely on your solutions for their day-to-day work. You will help unlock increased business potential and opportunities for FalconX and our clients. We are one of the largest PB's in this space enabling institutions to scale their strategies with credit, the risk systems form the backbone of our credit offering. In the challenging world of fast moving 24x7 crypto markets, risk systems protect FalconX and its clients from adverse market movements.Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance FalconX’s proprietary risk management systems, infrastructure, risk data, and processes.Architect and build scalable, robust, performant risk solutions for institutional customers and internal teams.Architect/build/improve a proprietary auto-liquidation engine for FalconX.Work closely with multiple members of the risk team to develop, maintain and improve the risk management stack.Coach and mentor teammates on supporting and maintaining FalconX’s risk solutions.Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, EE, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent fields.5-9 years of extensive experience with software engineering, object-oriented coding, design and complex distributed architectures.Python programming experience with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.Strong system design skills with ability to build low latency systems.Comfortable working with Linux/AWS environments.Proactive, strong sense of ownership with the ability to partner and build alignment with our risk, product and engineering teams.Experience in risk management in a trading environment (hedge fund or bank).Knowledge of a range of financial products and experience with a variety of derivatives asset classes.Strong passion for intuitive, analytical, out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Professional experience (at least 2 years) in a quant risk role is a plus.Experience with go programming language is a plus.Experience with Cloud Native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker etc is a plus.Inclusivity StatementFalconX is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and safe workspace for all people.
