The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the BOH team. In this high volume kitchen, they will drive the preparation of every dish from scratch, focusing on fresh ingredients and culinary innovation.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
Oversee BOH operations and ensure effective inventory and food cost management
Lead and guide hourly and management teams, fostering a Culture of Caring
Develop and execute seasonal menus in collaboration with divisional leaders
Conduct BOH training and quarterly audits of standard operating procedures
Collaborate on purchasing, recipe costing, and team development
Promote teamwork and address challenges with tact and courtesy
Executive Chef Qualifications:
5+ years of Executive Chef experience in a full-service, high-volume ($10m) restaurant
Must have a background with Italian Cuisine and fresh pasta
Expertise in leading and developing teams
Skilled in managing BOH systems
