Compensation Coordinator

to join our team and support our Total Rewards department’s cross-functional relationships within HR and in its partnerships with Property Management and Beacon’s other corporate Service Centers. This role will be based out of Corporate Home Office in Boston, Massachusetts.Supervision Received:

ExemptEssential Functions of the PositionThe Compensation Coordinator, working in conjunction with HRIS colleagues, will be responsible for assisting the Director, Total Rewards in the following areas:Assist with annual benchmark survey matching and participation.Review job descriptions for appropriate job family and level placement.Support compensation programs to maximize retention and ensure internal pay equity and alignment across Beacon.Maintain the library of job descriptions.Assist with the annual merit cycle including partnering with the HRIS team in pre-planning, prepping, and testing the launch in the Dayforce tool, and review and auditing of payout files.Generate compensation reports.Provide project support in ongoing Compensation initiatives.Assist in the development of compensation education and training materials.Minimum QualificationsEducation:Experience:1-3 years Compensation Administration.Qualifications, Abilities and Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or related field required.Experience in a similar capacity with compensation programs and systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - particularly in MS Excel.Strong attention to detail/accuracy.Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.Knowledge of compensation principles and procedures.Proficient in using HR related software.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Beacon Core Competencies required for all positions:Teamwork, Integrity/Ethics, Dependability, Customer Focus, Adaptability/FlexibilityJob Knowledge, Quality, Problem Solving/Analysis, Interpersonal Skills, Personal Organization, ProductivityBenefits Offered:At the core of Beacon Communities is the talent on our teams, and we are committed to taking care of our team members so they can deliver great experiences to our residents.
