We need your knowledge as an information security risk specialist to help break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.As an information security risk specialist on our team, you’ll work with DoD clients to discover their cyber risks, understand policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You’ll get technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs or engineers to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.You’ll work on translating security concepts for your client so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems. The world can’t wait.You Have:6+ years of experience working in Cybersecurity2+ years of experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and maintaining eMASS records and artifactsExperience with Nessus file format that contains the list of targets, policies defined by the user, and scan resultsExperience with developing and managing ATO Packages, authorization actions concerning software development and testing, and the interpretation of patterns of non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk or overall effectiveness of the enclave’s cybersecurity programExperience with evaluating risk analysis in the decision-making process and evaluating proposals to determine if proposed security solutions effectively address enclave requirements, as detailed in solicitation documentsKnowledge of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 compliance, RMF, and NIST framework principles, and how these requirements translate to cybersecurity solutions, processes, configuration implementation, or application requirementsKnowledge of the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configuration standard consisting of cybersecurity requirements for a specific productSecret clearanceBachelor’s degreeCISSP, CISM, CAP, Security+, or CeH certificationNice If You Have:Knowledge of DoD 8500, AR 25-2, AR 70-1, and DA PAM 70-3 Army Acquisition ImplementationKnowledge of the configuration management (CM) of DoD software, including source code, documentation, and fieldable products, and DoD security and program protection and declassification operationsTop Secret clearanceMaster's degreeISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) CertificationMicrosoft IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) on Windows 2016 or 2019 Server, Windows 10 MCSE, or equivalent Operating Systems CertificationLinux CertificationCisco Networking CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.Grow With UsYour growth matters to us—that’s why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
