Present findings to Leadership for evaluation of probable investment.Identify and develop relationships with existing and potential clients, associations, and business networks in an effort to expand Bohlers market share and brand growth awarenessMeet with existing vendors, sub-consultants, and business partners for lead generationCollaborate with Project Managers and branch leadership to provide recommendations for expanding and executing on opportunities and leadsWork directly with branch leadership to develop leads, coordinate proposals, and schedule presentations in collaboration with the Marketing Business PartnerCollaborate with Project Managers and the Marketing Business Partner on preparation of successful RFP submissions and contractsProactively maintain CRM data and follow-ups accordinglySupport Business Development Leaders and help drive established sales goals and metricsResearch industry and networking events, and coordinate attendance at such value- added eventsAttend industry events to increase industry/client knowledge and connectionsEvaluate and share findings on those events that prove effective verse those that should be discontinuedFacilitate introductions and meetings with potential leads, clients, and industry-peersPartner with Project Managers to curate project sites and track accordinglyPractice continual emersion and learning of land development industry and life-cycle to better support the businessAssist Business Development Leaders with communication and engagement of Project Managers and clientsServe as a resource and mentor for staff in Business Development best practices, enforcing the importance continued effortsAssist Leaders with Business Development for key staffWhat We Offer:A supportive and flexible work environment that empowers employees to stay healthy, fulfill their passions, and balance work and life goalsThe opportunity to take ownership of your career with an unsurpassed focus on career development and mentorshipA collaborative work environmentOpen and transparent communication with senior leadership as well as local office managementTeam building activities/eventsWhat Youll Need:Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, business or related field7+ years of business development or related experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics a plus, or demonstrable experiencing managing with data entry, reports and other tasks within a comparable CRM systemExperience with market research & evaluationExperience in the architectural, engineering and/or construction industries a plus; or similar professional services (legal, accounting, finance) preferredProficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and client management skillsClient-centric attitude and problem-solving mindsetAbility to handle confidential documents and information with discretion and in a professional mannerSelf-starter with strong multi-tasking, time management and follow-up skills.
