Meet The Team

As part of the Commercial Data Science department, you will join a team that is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to drive innovation and growth within the company. As a senior business analyst in our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform business decisions. Where You Come InYou will partner with business owners and technical peers to intake requests, develop analytical proposals/solutions, and document processes.You will maintain, build, and optimize data warehouse, automated data flow, and analytics “as-a-service” environment.You will drive and implement automation to empower the organization to scale efficiently and with flexibility.You will report out on proposals, roadmaps, solutions, and project updates to leadership on a regular basis.You have strong attention to detail, necessary to deliver high-quality analytics and reports to leadership.You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve dashboards and analyses.

What Makes You SuccessfulYou have experience using Tableau, SQL, and database management.You have strong analytical experience with databases in writing queries, query optimization, debugging, user-defined functions, views, indexes, etc.You are highly self-driven, execution-focused, with a willingness to do "what it takes" to deliver results as you will be expected to rapidly cover a considerable amount of demands on data integration.You have an understanding of development methodology and actual experience writing functional and technical documentation.You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, in person, by telephone, and with large teams.You have business intelligence experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, data enrichment, and storytelling.You have strong attention to detail, necessary to deliver high-quality analytics and reports to leadership.You have demonstrated experience resolving complex analytical problems.You are able to work cross-functionally.You have experience with AWS/GCP Cloud or equivalent on data integration with S3, Redshift, RDS, or BigQuery ecosystems.You have strong experience with source control systems such as Git and Jenkins build and continuous integration tools.

Remote Workplace:

Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km), a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
