The Product Manager is a Product, Solutions, and Support Department member leading new product development and commercial launch. This Product Manager has a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, is passionate about delivering high-quality customer experiences, and focuses on software that powers 5G solutions. This person leads all product lifecycle activities from conception through execution, launch, maintenance, and ultimately end of life. A Product Manager often must step up to fill gaps that arise and must be able to coordinate and lead a cross-functional team of marketing, engineering, sales, and support, as well as external customers, to navigate the development, launch, and maintenance of our products. Product Managers have blended technical, business, and marketing skill sets. They are considered the “CEO” of their product lines.Responsibilities:Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.Managing software project scope by making tradeoffs between competing requirements.Define, drive, and manage all aspects of the product, including pricing, design, form factor, features, target markets/industries/use cases/customers/regions, go-to-market strategy, product support, quality testing, certification/regulatory requirements, packaging, messaging, and related services.Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams in developing, QA, releasing products, and balancing resources to ensure the organization's success.Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Inseego across primary market segments.Be a champion for growing Inseego’s software business and recurring revenues.Travel Expected:
Up to 20%Experience/Requirements:Previous work experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, or a similar role is preferred.Experience working with Software as a Service offering is a must.Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements; track record of managing and producing deliverables that include product and marketing requirements and product briefs.Demonstrable knowledge of a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Telecommunications or Wireless systems background a plus.Project management experience with handling multiple projects.Excellent communication skills (written, presentation, and verbal).Must love technology, software, automation, and digital solutions.Passionate about 5G, cutting-edge solutions, and turning ambiguity into outcomes.Education:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field such as Computer Networking, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.Salary Range:
$150,000 - $170,000. This base pay range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Inseego. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and equity.
