A Director of Customer Success will own developing and executing overall customer success strategy and renewal ARR across thousands of customers. They lead the customer renewals for all public sector. They drive a strategic vision for Pluralsight within the customer base, resulting in renewals. They guide and coach Customer Success Managers on success planning, adoption strategies, and customer critical issues. They also work with peer sales directors, global CSM directors, and VPs to drive renewals and expansion opportunities to achieve best-in-class gross and net retention targets.Who you are:You use data, empathy, and good judgment to approach business and people opportunities.Persistent Problem-Solver - You know where we want to be and as the business changes, you find ways to create solutions along the way that get us closer to our ultimate goal.You have extreme ownership of your business.You are competitive with yourself, yet collaborative with other team members across the business.You are a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes in a rapidly evolving environment.You are an inquisitive, critical thinker who is always looking for how things can work better.A natural project manager - You keep all the moving pieces organized and moving on time.What you'll do:Build vision for Customer Success team; empower and encourage your teams to drive towards targets while also focusing our customers.Drive and develop new initiatives and other key programs and initiatives as required to evolve our Customer Success strategy.Ensure alignment of strategy/approach between Sales and Customer Success.Meet and exceed Net Retention and Gross Retention goals.Support operations on behalf of your segment, such as forecasting, recruiting, training, quality assurance, CSM capacity, and customer feedback.Monitor and measure customer health and proactively mitigate risk.Build relationships with our top customers to foster upsell, prove value, and ultimately drive retention.Experience you'll bring:Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the SaaS industry.Experience managing multiple teams who own the renewal transaction.Direct experience negotiating renewals and driving ARR.Experience in working with and implementing enterprise customer success and sales processes and methodologies.Travel up to 50% required.Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree.Proven ability to navigate government processes and foster relationships with public sector clients.Travel Requirements:
