Job#: 2040666Job Description:Apex Systems, along with one of our largest Retail/Grocery clients, is looking to fill a Systems Administrator opportunity.Shift:
1st shift, 8 hours (flexible start time, EDT). Occasional overnight patches.On-Call Cycle:10-week on-call cycle once trainedIncludes user setup and access issuesAdditional support for production issues when on callLocation:
Any operating locations (Salisbury, Greenville, Quincy, Scarborough, Hannaford).Hybrid:
3 days in officeQualifications and Must-Haves:Proficiency in SQL, Operating Systems (Windows, Unix)Experience with NCR AMS or Loyalty systemKnowledge of PostgreSQLFamiliarity with scrum processStrong team player with collaborative skillsAbility to adapt and change priorities as neededResponsibilities:Install, configure, administer, and maintain networks and computer systemsSet up user accounts on organization’s serversRun necessary system backupsProvide technical support and troubleshoot LAN and data network issuesPerform some programming and script writingEntry-level position with routine tasks and close supervisionFocus:Directly focused on NCR AMS (Advanced Marketing System)Work on a scrum team for patch installations and updates across various operating systemsBudgeted through the end of the year, with potential extensionEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
