Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD)

for our Content Creation tools and our offerings for Autodesk Flow. Our solutions provide users the ability to manage productions throughout the entire creative process. In this exciting opportunity, you'll directly apply your experience working on large-scale Film, TV or Games productions. Reporting to our Director of Product Management, you'll partner with us on defining, designing and building the next-generation solutions and services for Autodesk's Content Creation products and for our platform, Autodesk Flow. You will meet with customers and our partners to inform and validate our product strategy and roadmap. You will also lead and partner with other teams to accomplish our product strategy, ensuring we're prioritizing workflows that create the most value to our customers. You possess hands-on experience with studio production processes (VFX, Games, TV, or Animation) and have worked directly with OpenUSD. You also have a working knowledge of how content creation and production management tools contribute to the final product.ResponsibilitiesExercise leadership and guide product roadmaps for our Content Creation and Production Management and Platform initiatives based on an acute awareness of how OpenUSD and associated open standards are used today, and how they are evolving.Work across other divisions within Autodesk to help strengthen our unified cross-industry focus on open standards.Be an external representative and stakeholder for Autodesk, publicly showing experience, participating in open source committees, and helping guide agreement in our industry.Use your Film/ TV / Games production management domain experience to define, champion and build a holistic product vision for our Media & Entertainment offerings.Be the customer-facing leader to learn and document what our customers need and how we can make them successful.Translate problem statements and customer needs into story maps to inform development priorities and plans.Work with a cross-functional team made up of Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX designers, developers, and other key stakeholders to build our product vision, within the Media & Entertainment team.Provide learnings from customer discovery and validation that supports iterative development.Balance long-term vision and big picture thinking with guidance of work in flight.Work with other team members and executives to set expectations, manage risks and dependencies, and trade-offs.Maintain your knowledge on emerging technologies and trends in the industry, including the evolution of open source projects and standards.Engage with customers and the industry through activities such as customer councils, executive briefings, industry events, media support.Minimum Qualifications7-10 years of experience in Film / TV / Games production studios, working with multiple stakeholders such as producers, technical directors, production managers and artists to drive projects from conception to delivery.Must demonstrate an intimate understanding and point of view on customer problems related to production management and can define solutions for task planning, resource management, and related activities.Experience with Autodesk Content Creation and Production Management tools as used in VFX, Animation or Game pipelines, and other competitive tools.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on sizeable productions and projects.Cross-team collaboration skills.Ability to take and analyze data from several sources to guide trade-offs.Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners both internally with executives and externally with customers.Able to take very complex ideas and convey them in a concise and impactful manner.
