Subject Matter Expert• Provide engineering, architectural, full lifecycle, integration, sustainment, and documentation support for the Organization’s Linux, Splunk, and cloud-based systems.• Perform Cloud Analytics, architecture, development, support, and operations and maintenance (O&M).• Provide Linux operating system administration and operations and maintenance (O&M) and Nessus support to maintain sustainability and reliability of systems and applications.• Perform software development, support, and operations and maintenance for new and legacy systems - building new capabilities, maintaining and upgrading existing capabilities.• Need extensive hands-on Linux, Splunk, cloud-based experience, significant Node.js, Express.js, React.js, Material UI, MySQL, and Bash script development experience as well as significant Nessus experience, a solid system engineering and administration background, and strong interpersonal skills.• Required to communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, and work with other contractor teams, Organization staff to include joint projects, as well as external stakeholders.• Ensure that the infrastructure and modifications to existing Organization’s infrastructure operate in compliance with the Organization’s architectural and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Security process. Priorities will be managed by the Organization’s designated Product Line Managers.Required SkillsThe Candidate shall have the following required skills, certifications, and demonstrated experience:On-the-job experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role.Managing Linux hosts such as RHEL or CENTOS in an enterprise environment.Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.Deploying worldwide enterprise solutions.Installing, configuring, and managing Linux operating systems.Working with AWS-based solutions.Configuring and troubleshooting network components.Implementing operating systems enhancements.Prototyping enterprise scale solutions.Writing scripts in Bash and Python.Executing shell scripts.Deploying applications.Developing and supporting Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications.Nessus.Certifications:
Red Hat System Certified Administrator.Highly Desired SkillsSkills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include:VMWare and RAID configurations.Cloud infrastructure and technologies.Cloudwatch.Atlassian Suite of tools.Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).Using the command line to interact with LDAP repositories.XML schemas.Organization’s systems lifecycle.Certifications (any or all of the certifications listed):
