PMX is at the forefront of the converging marketplace building data-informed, tech-enabled media to help marketers connect with consumers in a measurable way.The role of the Senior Associate, Local Tactical Planning is to be the day-to-day steward on local media communication for assigned brands. You will be required to develop and maintain a strong knowledge of client business and apply local media understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients' needs/objectives. You will work closely with the Specialists and Supervisors in the development and communication of all local media recommendations. You will also be responsible for management, oversight and priority setting for respective Associates.You will report to Senior Vice President, Local Investment.This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.Role ObjectivesAssist the Supervisor in development of local media plan options and recommendationsDemonstrate strong understanding of local media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency)Demonstrate proficiency with systems/tools (MRI, MediaTools, Nielsen)Gather and analyze appropriate research to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights-driven local media recommendationsEstablish collaborative, productive working relationships with Investment teams to ensure media strategies are being delivered and brand goals and client needs are being metDevelop strong working relationships with partner agencies (where/when applicable), helping create a seamless communications processDemonstrate creativity and agility when problem solvingDeliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunitiesPrepare media authorizations per approved plans/project requests for Supervisor approvalAccurately enter appropriate pre-buy goals in relevant platforms for Investment team useMinimum Qualifications:1+ years of Media Planning experienceMediaTools & MediaOcean knowledge is preferredFamiliarity with Competitive systems (AdViews/Kantar)Working knowledge of Syndicated research tools (eg.
