Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing business, acquisition of new business, and the development of targeted growth. The chosen candidate will represent the company in a professional manner at all times using a consultative sales approach to determine needs and then provide solutions that solve the customer’s issues and generate a high rate of referral-based sales. Integrity, honesty, and a genuine caring for our clients are key attributes required of our team members.

Sales Territory:

Eastern Massachusetts/ Southern NH. Candidate must be located within or immediately outside of the assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities:

Increase unitary market share through development of new business relationships within territory.

Execute the sales cycle: customer contact and relationship growth, presentation, quoting, communication and management, documentation and reporting.

Meet regularly with specifiers, wholesalers, and contractors in assigned territory to ensure Company’s products are chosen as basis for design.

Assist in annual strategic market planning and sales forecasting process for designated sales territory.

Cultivate customer relationships with the sales team by connecting appropriate team member(s) with key personnel. Capitalize on resources available through the organization and supply chain partners to maximize potential of prospective customers.

Assist and develop contractor customers’ profitable growth through introduction and education of the Company’s full line of products, promotions, and services.

Regularly acquire professional growth and educational opportunities to expand knowledge of products and services provided by the Company to serve as a competitive advantage for current and prospective customers.

Maintain accurate documentation and communication mediums to address the status of customers with team members; previous CRM experience required.

Document and submit travel expenses, planning, and calls in a timely manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Reports To:

Territory Sales Manager

Requirements:

MUST have at least 2-3 years of experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing sales.

Relates easily to others, building rapport and collaborative relationships through sales calls.

Organize and manage your time efficiently, which results in consistent productivity and customer focus.

Strong customer service experience, and knowledge of sales techniques.

Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.

Must be a quick learner.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or completion of an approved secondary HVACR vocational curriculum (or equivalent).

3 to 5 years of outside sales experience or 2 years of industry experience preferred, but not required.

Microsoft Office skills required. Knowledge of inter-related databases (i.e. MS PowerPoint, Excel).
