Robot is a brand consultancy within The SpringHill Company that helps brands find their place and voice in culture. At its core, Robot is programmed to support our partners through advertising and marketing that spans campaigns, strategy, content, social, and physical and virtual experiences. The Robot Company is based in New York City.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Brand Director, your primary focus and goal is to lead the brand team to achieve strategic, creative, and operational excellence while ensuring the successful execution of opportunities across priority projects and partnerships. As a key agent of The Robot Company, you will foster relationships with client partners serving as a direct 1:1 extension of their team, to understand needs, opportunities, insights, and challenges that define solutions Robot can provide. You have a clear vision for the holistic process, strategic needs, and key milestones you and the team need to drive to deliver cultural strategies, never been done before ideas and creative solutions that ladder up to both Robot's and Client business and brand objectives. As someone with their finger on the pulse of culture, you not only stay up-to-date on emerging trends (gaming, music, fashion, lifestyle, and sports) but know how to strategically apply these insights to developing gold standard work. To succeed in this role, your portfolio of experience must include work across gaming and sports with outputs in social/digital content, experiential activations and execution.

VP, Brand

ResponsibilitiesLEAD and set the bar of excellence to ensure the Brand team meets consultancy, client, and partner expectations.ACT as a key strategic voice and partner across all mid-senior level client relationships to ensure Robot's thought leadership continually sits at the forefront of all work, interactions, and outputs.DIRECT all cultural strategies from the inception of the briefs through delivery and fulfillment of all deliverables, including but not limited to, traditional ad-like campaigns, grassroots, social/digital-first content, and on-the-ground consumer experiences.INSPIRE and mobilize the cross-functional teams to deliver gold against all client briefs and initiatives; partner with Creative, Strategy, Talent, and Production leads to develop recommendations and troubleshoot solutions that impact the delivery of work to partners.SELL and persuade clients on strategic and creative proposals leaning into your expertise of the brand, category, and community.MAINTAIN the overall positive health of the business and monitor for opportunities to grow the scope of the relationship.DRIVE the process for Client engagements including SOW/proposal development, procurement management, and onboarding best practices to set Robot up for success.MANAGE financials to ensure proper project reconciliation, forecasting of budgets according to client fiscal parameters, and efficiencies in Robot resourcing against all SOWs.SERVE as a thought leader, trusted partner, and resource for peer and executive level teams within Robot on current and new business opportunities unlocked through the partnership.MONITOR opportunities to evolve, enhance, and enrich Robot's internal and external ways of working to ensure the team is continually delivering gold-standard work.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or BusinessMinimum of 10 years' experience, which includes advertising and/or marketing experienceExperience in developing brand strategy and creative ideas connected to the overall strategyExtensive background in and knowledge of culture, with a bonus in gamingAbility to strategically structure a project to get to the highest level of workProven ability to manage multiple projects from inception through to execution while adhering to strict deadlinesInnate curiosity for the world around you with an ear to the ground on all things sports and cultureExperience managing budgets for a business unit, as well as process and ops in a highly-matrixed organizationExtensive knowledge in and experience using social and digital mediaExcellent writing, attention to detail and presentation skillsSelf-starter that knows how to thrive in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Word, Google Suite, and Keynote

$140,000 - $155,000 a year
