Your Mission

As a Senior Software Engineer at Activision, you will work within the Experience Optimization Org to build innovative and impactful player optimization and personalization platforms and products that help to build loyalty and drive engagement for Activision’s industry leading games. Candidates should have development and implementation experience of large-scale applications. Key responsibilities include:Build scalable, high-volume, high-availability systems, with a focus on delivering player value.Contribute to evolve system architecture to deliver business needs.Participate in development of new features and defect resolution on existing applications, as well as assist with scoping and designing new product initiatives.Work with large volumes of data in both relational and NoSQL data stores.Work closely with our Data, Game and other development teams.Participate in software development standard methodologies and patterns.Player Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years of proven experience in software engineering/development and design of large-scale distributed systemsStrong programming skills with proficiency in JavaProficiency in Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, GCP, Redis, Protobuf, and JunitHands-on experience with high-volume consumer-facing APIsAnalytical problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong capability in working with Cassandra NoSQL databaseExperience with data pipelines such as KafkaSelf-starter who is excited about learning new technologiesAbility to work independently, learn quickly, and be proactiveExperience with GCP and Databricks is a plusYour Platform
