The Manager of Speaker Sourcing and Management is a critical role in the recruitment and preparation of our keynote speakers at Gartner Conferences. The Manager is also integral to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Gartner Speaker and Sourcing Management team. This role will report into the Sr. Manager, External Speaker Management who will oversee the strategic speaker sourcing team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities :Recommend the most relevant guest keynote speakers based on a strong understanding of the target audience, conference value proposition and current market.Oversee speaker onboarding, onsite logistics and speaker client service for a portfolio of conferences throughout the year.Own overall financial management across the conference external speaker budget.Ensure maximum ROI from our speaker investments and realize internal process efficiencies by overseeing:

Negotiating fees and speaker discounts.Speaker bureau performance assessments.Compliance, legal and billing standards.Speaker database development, management, and reporting.Identify, secure, and cultivate external partnerships for new speaker talent pipeline.

Job Requirements :Bachelor's Degree preferred.5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years of speaker management and/or speaker's bureau experience.Ability to build processes and continually realize best practices.Analytical, financial and negotiation skills.Strong executive presence.Excellent project management and communication skills.A passion for staying abreast of current events and speakers in technology and business.Exceptional customer service.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.People management experience.Proven ability to master new systems and tools.Willingness to travel approximately 20% (attend approximately 6-8 conferences annually).Who are we?At Gartner, Inc.
