The RAPID division is the world-leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications:The successful candidate will join a team of scientists and engineers to develop the next generation reticle inspection platforms. This person will:Conduct rigorous and approximate EM (electromagnetic) simulations based on lithography and reticle inspection optical parameters.Derive, develop, and enhance computationally efficient methods to calculate EUV and DUV mask near-field and far-field patterns.Explore and recommend optical configurations to optimize defect detection for next-generation photon-based reticle inspection systems.Research new mathematical methods to approximate mask 3D effects utilizing state-of-art technologies including machine-learning and deep-learning techniques.Be an effective communicator able to share technical information with functional groups and provide executive level reports to management and customers.A PhD degree in physics/applied physics, optics/applied optics, or electrical engineering is highly desired.Minimum Qualifications:Doctorate (Academic) and no work experience, or Master's Degree and 3 years of work experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of work experience.The company offers a total rewards package that is competitive and comprehensive including but not limited to the following: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.KLA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
