Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)Join our client's design team as a UI/UX Designer, where you'll be instrumental in transforming high-level design concepts into precise development blueprints. Utilize established design systems and UI patterns to craft interfaces that are consistent, user-friendly, and adhere to the highest standards of usability and accessibility. Collaborate with a dynamic team to bring digital products to life.Responsibilities:
Work in tandem with senior designers and cross-functional teams to grasp the nuances of feature requirements and ensure timely delivery.Convert overarching design ideas into comprehensive development guidelines, complete with documentation and considerations for various states.Employ design systems and UI patterns meticulously to develop designs that are both uniform and adaptable.Guarantee that all design initiatives are in line with industry best practices for usability, accessibility, and responsive design.Engage closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented to specification.Actively participate in design critiques, offering and receiving feedback constructively.Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to refine design methodologies.Portfolio Requirement:
Submission showcasing the full design process and high-caliber outcomes is mandatory.Essential Qualifications:
Proficient in Design Systems.Expertise in Figma with at least 2 years of experience.Knowledgeable in accessibility standards, specifically JAWS.Skilled in managing layers, assets, and UI patterns.Extensive experience with Material Design.Proven track record of translating design concepts into developer-ready layouts.Competent in designing for both web and native applications.Preferred Qualifications:
A strong grasp of User Interface design principles.Prior experience in B2B environments is advantageous.Daily Activities:
Engage in collaborative efforts with senior designers and various technical and business teams.Interpret high-level features from Senior Designers into developer-ready specifications.Utilize JIRA for task management within sprints.Navigate the workflow from features to stories to sub-tasks.Coordinate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to prepare development specifications for sprints.Present designs to the team and stakeholders, encompassing new features and enhancements.Contact:
