Principal Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA)

will provide support within one of the following Divisions as determined by business need, candidate background, and experience:Maritime/Land Systems & Sensors (MLSS) DivisionNetworked Information Solutions (NIS) DivisionAirborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) DivisionThe

PCA

will interface with program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs), and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements. Responsibilities include:Preparing budgets and schedules for contract workAssisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysisMonitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systemsPerforming Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis, and visibility reportsEnsuring contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelinesSupporting audits and reviews as requested by programs, customers, and company managementPreparing financial inputs to internal reports and presentations (IPRS, Dashboards, BARs, etc.)Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of related professional experienceWill consider 10 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirementExperience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysisStrong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)Ability to travel domestically 10% of the timeA current/active DoD Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience with COBRA, COGNOS, SAPExperience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline conceptsWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
