Sr Consultant, Value Targeting @ Atlanta, GA.Terms of Hire:
Full Time.Salary:
$95,000 – $105,000 / yr + Benefits.
Job Summary:
The Value Targeting Senior Consultant is responsible for collaborating with the value targeting team to support value targeting activities for CLIENT Transformation Change Office (TCO) across various functional areas (e.g., care management, medical cost reduction, etc.). These efforts will involve leveraging data analytics, functional area expertise, and stakeholder input to help identify opportunities to value capture and ultimately increase revenue and savings for CLIENT. The expectation is to work in an entrepreneurial fashion to generate hypotheses, conduct initial data analysis and hypothesis evaluation, and work with the team to develop value and predicted timelines for each hypothesis. This role will focus on non-clinical/non-hospital settings.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinates with stakeholders, project managers, and TCO Accountable Executives to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and track progress of each hypothesis, as prioritized by the Senior Director of Enterprise Value Targeting & Realization.Supports value targeting and implementation responsibilities. Conducts data analysis to determine the viability of opportunities, validates & refines hypotheses, drives solutioning, and quantifies hypothesis timelines.Reports progress, risks and identifies analytics improvements to support remediation of impediments and blockers.
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a related field.Minimum one (1) year of experience in leading projects.Education:
Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of experience in health care, business administration, finance, procurement, IT, or other related fields.High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.Additional Requirements:
Experience in health plan & healthcare operations.Experience in supporting financial planning & analytics.Ability to apply working knowledge of standard healthcare data sources & parameters (e.g., claims knowledge).Thorough understanding of data analytics methodology & applications.Deep understanding of complex project management processes, tools, techniques, and methodologies to lead large scale efforts.Ability to communicate across a variety of stakeholders in varying organizational levels & functional areas.Experience in payer and provider organizations across various functional areas.Experience in any of the following functional areas preferred: Care Management, Pharmacy, Provider & Medical Vendor Contracting, Medical Cost Reduction/Overpayment reduction, Claims Utilization Management.Ability to apply a working knowledge of Structural Query Language (SQL) and other relational databases.Experience with program & project management.Experience working in PowerBI and/or Tableau.
