Preference is Boston. Position Responsibilities: Work with the client marketing leadership team to help position MFS as a leading global investment manager. Drive strategic planning and program development in support of corporate, business and brand objectives. Partner closely with MFS' distribution management teams to understand and translate business goals into multi-channel marketing strategies. Build strong relationships with other cross-functional distribution groups and lead with influence as a trusted marketing consultant. Deliver regular monitoring and reporting on key measures of success. Partner with colleagues globally to deliver marketing campaigns, programs, and toolkits while ensuring consistent, integrated messaging. Drive ongoing data mining and business analysis, marketing planning, and strategy development in support of channel objectives. Consume and direct market research, using key insights to champion strategies and advance initiatives. Analyze results; compare to industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Engage business leaders, field force, investment staff, and compliance personnel in review of results. Implement strategies across various media, platforms, and venues to drive brand awareness. Oversee execution of complex campaigns. Collaborate with colleagues across marketing centers of excellence. Lead project teams to establish priorities and meet deadlines. Responsible for establishing, monitoring, and managing to approve budgets. Participate in special projects and/or process improvement initiatives. Partner with direct supervisor as well as management colleagues across Global Marketing. May manage team of client marketing personnel. Desired Experience and Characteristics: Mastery of industry, products, market segments, and competitive environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 8-12+ years of relevant experience in the asset management industry. Strong knowledge of financial products, investment techniques, and regulations. Demonstrated expertise mining for customer insights. Creative thinker and innovator. Organized team leader with attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Customer-service focus. Willingness to travel, as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
