The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $126,000 - $170,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Director of Customer Experience to lead the customer service team for Red Wing Shoe Company. This role will need to champion a customer-centric environment that increases customer loyalty through continuous enhancements to the customer experience; seek new ways to add value to our customers and provide appropriate escalation measures resulting in positive outcomes; develop and execute processes to ensure world-class customer service for all internal and external customers by leveraging in-depth knowledge of our customers’ needs, RWSC mission and values, products and programs, and team members’ expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in a four-year college or university, with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous management experience with global customer service initiatives and leading teams is required.

Qualified candidates should have demonstrated management and leadership skills; experience in creating and implementing strategic plans that maximize efficiency in service while achieving the highest customer loyalty; experience providing customer service in a multi-channel distribution setting.

Demonstrated expertise to communicate effectively with internal and external customers with the highest degree of professionalism, clarity, and diplomacy while being firm as the situation necessitates.

Ability to operate as a change leader; represented customer-driven skills including reliability, effective communication, and the ability to develop strong and lasting relationships; innovative thinking skills to create and maintain a team environment of creativity, responsibility, and accountability.

Excellent organizational and time management skills; successful negotiation skills; ability to thrive and navigate challenging and stressful situations; proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook.

This role is identified as hybrid. Based in Red Wing, MN with both onsite and offsite work with occasional, very limited travel that might cover weekends for sales meetings or customer meetings at trade shows for example.
