Engineering DirectorResponsibilities:Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure project success.Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to improve efficiency and innovation.Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering capabilities and product quality.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and development.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred) or related field.Proven experience in an engineering management role, with a track record of successful project delivery.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Preferred Skills:Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Project management certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company match.Professional development opportunities and continuing education support.Interested in hearing more?
