Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and possess a Juris Doctorate or better.Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and arbitrations.Assist with case management and trial preparation.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case matters.Stay updated on changes in laws, rules, and regulations relevant to litigation practice.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina.At least 2 years of litigation experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Client-focused approach to legal representation.Knowledge of relevant legal technology and research tools.
