The responsibilities for this position include assisting with the management of the dining room and overseeing the service of meals to residents.Eskaton Gold River is a picturesque senior living community consisting of 55 assisted living units, 23 memory care units and 17 pre-memory care units. The Gold River staff focuses on wellness, nutrition and socialization to enhance the life experience of each resident. Many members of our team have been with us for more than eight years and are part of the tight-knit community that residents enjoy. Eskaton's dietary department offers desirable shifts on a regular weekly schedule, and our teams work together to prepare and serve gourmet meals for our residents in a collaborative, welcoming and positive environment. Our dietary staff also get to enjoy their evenings as shifts are finished by 8:00 PM.QualificationsEducation:Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.Training and Experience:A minimum of one (1) year work experience in food service operations. California Food Handler certification is preferred.Job Knowledge:Ability to understand and work harmoniously with residents, staff and healthcare professionals. Ability to maintain high professional and ethical standards. Computer knowledge is helpful but not required.The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.Eskaton is an Equal Opportunity employer.
