Backend Developer (US remote)
Our client is looking for a Backend Developer to join their growing and talented engineering team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you must possess strong backend, hands-on dev experience with Nuxt JS, Vue JS, Node JS, MVC, AWS, and CI/CD following TDD.This can be worked in a hybrid model in Ft. Lauderdale, FL or completely remote from the rest of FL as well as GA, TX, NC, SC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, KS, MO, IL, LA, MS and AZ.This is a direct hire and requires current PERMANENT US work authorization. Impactful role in software design and delivery of the case management and external-facing portal productsInteract with engineers and business partners at all levels and with teams across functional areasPromoting a collaborative culture of feedback and continuous improvement.Design, implement, and test features to support the growth of the company’s software products.Take ownership and responsibility of the team’s goals and be a good steward to our productsImplementing features across the stack including database queries, backend APIs, and U/ICollaborate with product, design, business stakeholders, and other engineersSkills and experience:
5+ years of backend development for a software company or startupMust have professional development with Node JS, Nest JS, AWS, CI/CD, and MVCExperience writing automated tests (Unit, Functional, etc.)Proficient in a backend MVC framework and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Working knowledge of a modern JS library (Vue.js, React, etc.)Developing and implementing RESTful APIsBe able to solve difficult problems with well architected and reusable software solutionsExperience in optimizing those solutions for speed, stability and scalabilityDesign and implementation of data storage solutionsWorking knowledge of SQL (Queries, Joins, etc.)Nice to Haves:
