Our mission is to build the Intelligent Edge, where AI transforms how we solve challenging problems by combining deep application knowledge, close customer relationships, extraordinary data, advanced circuits, and breakthrough algorithms.We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure for AI/ML applications.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of internet engineering fundamentals, a strong background in applying DevOps methodologies, a deep understanding of cloud technologies, and deep experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools.Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the Cloud infrastructure for AI/ML-enabled applications using infrastructure-as-code software tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef).Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other developer tools.Ensure our Cloud infrastructure's security, availability, and reliability via monitoring, observability, and alerting.Work closely with our Software Engineers to optimize performance and scalability and deliver highly available customer-facing products.Create infrastructure code and reference architectures for orchestrating environment creation, housekeeping, and deployment throughout the application and product life-cycles.Support pre-production and production environments, diagnose and troubleshoot problems in code and in the environment, conduct root cause analyses and incident post mortems.Act as a mentor for other members of the team.Stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud technologies and operational tools.Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in a cloud-based, DevOps, or software engineering role supporting production applications or production environments.At least 3-4 years of experience in an on-call rotation, supporting production applications, or otherwise being responsible for resolving time-sensitive issues in customer-facing applications.At least 2-3 years of experience operating in at least one major cloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure; GCP experience preferred.Deep knowledge of containerization and packaging using technologies such as Docker or Podman or CRI-O, Helm or Kustomize.At least 2 years of experience operating a container orchestration platform, such as Kubernetes, in a production environment.At least 1-2 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GCP Cloud Build, Jenkins, or Github CI.At least 2-3 years experience developing infrastructure-as-code targeting a production environment (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef).At least 2-3 years of experience with software development life-cycle, processes, and tools (e.g. Agile/Scrum, Kanban); experience with ITIL or IT Service Management processes is also a plus.Deep knowledge of Linux CLI tooling and Linux fundamentals, working with and supporting git code repositories, creating and maintaining service integration tooling.Working knowledge of at least one programming language; Python or Go preferred.Strong communication and collaboration skills, and excellent problem-solving skills are a must.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.RHCE, LFCS, LPIC-2, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or equivalent certification.
