Summary:The Director of Supply Chain for Azelis Americas - Care covers four businesses, including three Personal Care divisions (DeWolf PC, Glenn Corp, and Ross Organics) and the Home and Industrial Cleaning division (Azelis H&IC). This strategic role for distribution in the Specialty-Chemical market reports directly to the Care GM and is responsible for all aspects of inventory, purchasing, managing landed costs, forecast/demand planning, assisting with new principal setup, warehousing, quality control, inbound logistics, supply-chain risk, and managing net working capital (NWC) to plan (budget). The Director of Supply Chain is accountable for elevating capabilities, driving business process improvements, developing talent, and driving Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), including developing and aligning demand, supply, and inventory plans, and communicating these plans to gain consensus from Sales, Operations, Finance, and Senior Management. This role has overall responsibility for developing and implementing strategic and operating plans to ensure that appropriate Supply Chain solutions are advanced, supporting current business needs and projected multi-year future growth to meet business goals for product line and profitability. All Care supply chain employees will report through this Director role, with Supply Chain Managers for each division being direct reports.Core Responsibilities:Single point of escalation for strategic relationships including 'supply chain customer' and 'supply chain principal/supplier.'Care leader for supply chain, S&OP, and capability evolution, including forecast/demand planning, NWC management, expired and impaired (E&I) inventory management, and others as assigned.Manage communication between Sales and Supply Chain to ensure market input and changes are effectively integrated into the demand planning process.Support communication with Principals by understanding supply constraints, implementing the right metrics, and providing them with the best supply plan available.Lead strategic ERP project, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), for Care Supply Chain including planning, implementation, rollout, and utilization (capability evolution).Collaborate with the Azelis Americas corporate operations team and build relationships with supply chain leaders across other business units to promote best practices and synergies across the various Azelis divisions.Lead development of a highly effective supply chain function to support the sales and customer service goals of the organization, with a keen focus on talent development.Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement KPIs to monitor and optimize Care supply chain performance; maintain alignment with Azelis Americas KPIs and strategies.Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality to our customers, including effective management of inventory levels, reduced inventory costs, and delivery times.Direct and refine all aspects of product forecasting management by working collaboratively with principals, suppliers, customers, and key internal stakeholders.Determine, develop, and guide Supply Chain organizational initiatives to support continuous improvement of supply chain processes, infrastructure, and personnel.Manage and develop Care supply chain staff and objectives; drive to optimum inventory levels and turns while satisfying customer demand and supplier purchasing requirements.Responsible for all supply chain staff performance metrics, reviews, and development plans.Inventory Management:

Responsible for demand planning, including overseeing planning activities, resolving problems, and evolving skills, processes, and capabilities. Develop expert competency with forecasting software and propagate across Care supply chain. Develop and simplify purchasing and inventory control processes to maximize on-time delivery to customers, including forecasting, stock levels, and warehouse optimization. Optimize WHSE strategy based on Care needs and leverage, where relevant, a 'hub and spoke' methodology. Monitor inventory aging and Date of Expiration (DOE) reports and work with VPs of Sales to proactively manage items requiring extra attention (return to supplier, promotional sale, disposal) to minimize write-offs. Monitor and minimize the impact of E&I inventory, acting as necessary to meet or exceed year-end NWC metrics.Inventory Costs and Supplier Management:

Support Care Pricing and Business Analysis team with maintaining accurate inventory cost in ERP including changes due to supplier price increases or supported pricing (CUPS, SPAS), and accurate standard costs for warehousing and freight. Achieve financial objectives by monitoring costs and initiating preventative and/or corrective actions opportunistically or when required. Compile relevant information for key raw material drivers to assist Sales with market data/rationale pertaining to cost increases, decreases, and shortages (potential opportunities). Work with Sales/PDM to define demand plans to share with suppliers to negotiate the best product cost. Promote healthy working relationships with key vendors and develop cooperative, win-win supply chain strategies.Quality Control:

Preference for a master's degree in business administration, supply chain, or operations management.10+ years of experience in supply chain. Demonstrated experience with forecast/demand planning, distribution and warehouse management, logistics and transportation, purchasing and compliance.10+ years of experience in Personal Care.Distribution experience preferred, but not required.Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills:
