As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for many tasks pursuant to assembly of our robots.This role will be on-site at our San Carlos office, 5 days/40 hours per week. Some travel may be required. This contract will be, at minimum, a 6-month commitment. The starting hourly wage for this role is $35.00 - $45.00 per hour; the final compensation for this role will be based on the candidate’s unique skills and experience.Main responsibilities:

Assemble all mechanical and electrical components of the robot according to work instructionsPerform in-line and end-of-line manufacturing testsRecord and track performance bugs during manufacture and deploymentAssist in quality control and inventory managementDevelop a thorough understanding of the robot constructionProvide feedback on work instructions and technical documentationMaintain an orderly, clean, and safe work environmentRequirements:

4+ years of experience assembling electro-mechanical hardware, or in a related industryAbility to follow written instructions precisely, with superb attention to detailWillingness to be flexible day to day, and take on a variety of tasks to make our team successfulProficient in using Google Workspace applications, especially SheetsExperience with power tools and assembly toolsAble to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and part schematicsIdeal Qualifications:

Basic SolidWorks experienceExperience writing Work Instructions, SOPs, or other technical documentationExperience using command line interfaces, Linux-based operating systems, and simple Bash commandsExperience using metrology/inspection toolsIPC-620 Certification or wire harness manufacturing experience/ASE certificationsExperience with Jira, or project tracking systemsAnd lastly:
