DaVita IKC is the renal population health management division of DaVita serving approximately 70,000 end stage renal disease (ESRD) and late stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients across the U.S. A key component of DaVita's integrated care strategy is our healthcare analytics team, responsible for developing and communicating data analytics and reporting to inform the design and deployment of our care model.As a Manager on this team, you will be responsible for creating and executing analytic plans, supporting development of reporting tools, managing analyst teammates, and conducting your own analysis to support various DaVita IKC programs. You will apply your technical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to aggregate and transform data, synthesize findings, and effectively communicate results. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts, ability to use visualization tools to create reporting for various audiences, and strong problem solving skills.This Manager will partner with a diverse set of teammates and cross-functional teams within IKC to identify, prioritize, and fulfill reporting and analytic needs to support provider partners.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSponsor development of reports and analytics to assess performance of clinical and financial outcomes of IKC programs over timeMonitor clinical and financial outcomes of various programs and initiatives and communicate key takeaways to executive leaders and other stakeholdersPartner with Clinical, Operations, and Central teams to design, build, and enhance reports that support collaborative population managementUse technical knowledge to identify innovation areas for reporting, including process improvement/automation, documentation, training, etcManage a team of analysts; provide leadership and support through project management, prioritization, problem solving, coaching and professional developmentResearch industry standards and guidelines to inform approach and execution of analysesGain knowledge of healthcare concepts, including a robust understanding of kidney disease, claims and billing guidelines, and fundamentals of integrated careEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree, preferably in business, public health, health informatics, analytics, math, statistics, computer science, or a related field3+ years of experience using SQL and relational databasesExperience using data to create reporting deliverablesProven experience managing analytics teammates directly and/or managing analytics projects from start to finishExperience using Tableau or other data visualization tools, preferredExperience in healthcare claims analytics and knowledge of medical claims terminology preferredESSENTIAL BEHAVIORS, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITIONCommitment to DaVita's values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment and FunEffective communication skills - verbal and writtenStrong analytical skills - the ability to accurately perform complex quantitative analyses and quickly learn new data management processesFocus on analytical process improvementEnergetic team playerConfident self-starter with positive attitude and driveAbility to multi-task and consistently meet deadlinesProblem solver who works well independently and in team environmentsSuccessful candidates will have interest and strengths in competitive strategy and innovationWhat we will provide:More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
