We are seeking an individual with experience and passion for US policy work in innovative and emerging technologies.The preferred location for this role is Washington, D.C.Responsibilities:

Managing critical US policy workstreams for the company, including advocacy and engagement on legislative and regulatory proposalsBuilding and maintaining relationships with regulatory staff, legislative staff, and state and federal government officialsSupporting the Legal team’s work in advising the business on proposed US laws and regulations in our industryDirecting our engagement with government affairs resources in DC and throughout the USDrafting and editing policy-focused talking points, presentations, speeches, and other advocacy materialsParticipating and representing the company in trade associations and other collaborative industry projectsWork collegially and supportively with other members of the legal teamRequirements:

5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degreeExperience in US federal government policy experience in a regulatory agency or legislative office on technology issuesExperience directly supporting an executive team on policy workstreamsFamiliarity with state regulatory and legislative technology-related laws and proposed initiativesWilling to tackle tasks large or small on a small team with a critical roleOrganized and detail-orientedMinimum full-time salary of $203,000-$225,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.
