Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.Position SummaryThis role involves working with scrum teams and stakeholders to oversee the code releases in the bank. As a developer, he/she will apply industry accepted coding practices for improving code quality of applications as per the Design Document and help in implementing them in the production environment. Also responsible to analyze and design solutions.Required QualificationsWe are looking for a highly motivated full stack engineer with a variety of hands-on experience to explore existing and emerging technologies to drive Financial Center modernization efforts. This individual contributor will be part of a small team of technically strong individuals who support industry leading, multi-year, multi-gen teller transformation effort working on projects, troubleshooting, and developing proof of concepts. Industry leading applications developed by this team enable Financial Center associates to service clients using both desktop and iPads. The candidate must be able to document and communicate findings and options to all levels of the organization from both the technology and business.Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree is required.Design, Develop & Prototype Java/J2EE complex applications.Strong demonstrable experience with a variety of UI technologies such as HTML/CSS/Jquery/Handlebars.Experience with Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Hibernate, etc.Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.Participation in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release to appstore. Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.Strong problem solving and triage skills along with the ability to handle competing priorities.Services : Java, Spring Boot Microservices, SpringPlatform tools : SVN, BitBucket, JiraPersistence : Oracle, CachingOther : Agile Scrum & Scaled AgileDesired QualificationsExperience with continuous integration & Unit tests.Experience working in agile teams.Keep up to date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities:Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities.Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements.Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.Helping diverse candidates find great careers is our goal.
