JOB SUMMARY

-

Assist Lift Operators at multiple lifts in daily duties, identify and delegate tasks and projects for Lift Operators, give Lift Operators breaks, and knowledge how each individual lift works at a standard level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES-

Safely and efficiently perform all duties of a Lift OperatorEnthusiastically interact with guests at every opportunity while providing the best customer experienceSet up, run, and break down multiple lifts every day and quickly develop a working knowledge of those lifts and work areaLead your team of Lift Operators in assigned tasks and projectsAssist in training new employeesEnsure all breaks are completed in accordance with Department of Labor policiesResponsible for the overall appearance of assigned lift stations and staff, as well as auditing station supplies and lift documentationAssist in physically demanding tasksPerform Crowd Control at lift linesMust be dependable

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-

Must be 18 or olderLeadership and/or Lift Lead experience requiredSki/Snowboard experience requiredClear and concise verbal and written communication skills (English)Must be self-motivated and able to maximize use of time and resources

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-

This position is required to early mornings, work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours during in operationBe able to work flexible work schedulesAble to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.Working outside in extreme cold and changing weather conditions for long periods of timeComfortable with riding all chairlifts and being at heights
